What is WanderKnit™?
WanderKnit™ is a destination-themed knitting package, inspired by locations around the globe. Knitters will have a chance to learn a bit about each destination, while being treated to location-inspired patterns and surprises along the way. There will be new destinations each quarter, watch for where we'll travel next! Each destination will have a representative button which can be sewn onto your WanderKnit tote, much like a pin in a map!
A little bit about Greece:
Located in southeastern Europe, Greece is often referred to as the cradle of Western civilization. Its thousands of islands are spread throughout the Aegean and Ionian seas and include popular destinations such as Santorini and Mykonos. Greece’s contributions to the fields of theater, philosophy, mathematics, and medicine have helped shape our modern world.
Kits are limited, and the patterns are only available through the kits!
Tell me about the WanderKnit™ Greece designs!
Patagonia is a region known for its rugged natural beauty and abundant wildlife. The two hats and the bandana cowl are shown in colors that reflect the land and seascapes of the area. Each piece, made with HiKoo Highland Lux, will keep you toasty and warm on your next outdoor adventure!

Potamoi Cowl
The charted Potamoi Cowl is made up of contrasting colors of a Greek Key, also known as Meander, pattern. Knit tubularly in two colors of Rylie by HiKoo® and grafted with Kitchener stitch, this cowl ends up with a double thick fabric with a subtly rippling edge.

Scalae Cowl
The Scalae Cowl pattern features channels of flowing lace and stockinette stitch working together to create structure and movement. The “leaning ladders” lace pattern created looks very much like the rustic ladders seen leaning against buildings in old town Santorini or Corfu (“Scalae” means “ladder” in Ancient Greek).

What is in the tote kit?
Each tote kit contains one of each of the following:
- Greece-inspired travel brochures
- One copy of 2 Greece-inspired patterns
- Packet of Kosterina Extra Virgin Olive Oil (made in Greece)
- WanderKnit™ project tags
- 15mm Greek Key patterned buttons
