Madeline Prince

"I drive an hour to go here for yarn (and inspiration) because it’s my favorite store! I started knitting last year, and every time I walk into Cowgirl Yarn the staff go out of their way to help me find supplies, yarn, and even print out patterns for me! They are all so supportive and approachable. Their yarn selection is extensive and beautifully displayed.I’ve also ordered online multiple times and they always send a sweet handwritten card with my order. Splendid staff and store."

Jenn Lee

"I LOVE going to Cowgirl Yarn! It's definitely my favorite yarn store that I have been to, and not just because I live in Laramie. I often go to other stores when I'm out of town and I still think Cowgirl Yarn is the best! I've taken classes, asked for advice, chit chatted with everyone who works there, and generally adore their quality yarns. I really like that they try to stock yarns that are local or produced/dyed within the region too.The owner is really great with remembering your face and name, it's amazing how good they are at it, really..."

Syrena Howard

"Wonderful little shop! I started knitting again after a year when I thought I’d never pick it up again . And the staff at Cowgirl Yarn is the best! They are so kind and encouraging. They go out of their way to help. They have a great selection of fiber, tools, needles everything you need. They are priced well. It’s a place where I feel welcome and encouraged to do my best and be myself."

Camille Rendal

"Lori has created a store that has such a beautiful array of unique yarns including local suppliers. The atmosphere is always warm and welcoming makes you feel like you could spend the day there knitting, weaving and learning. Hands down best yarn store!"

Barbara Bender

"My all time favorite yarn store! I’m always up for an excuse to stop in and see Lori! Great selection of yarns and locally grown and processed products too! Grateful to have this resource in our community for crafting, learning, and gathering!"

Rachel Cook

"This is a wonderful local yarn shop! The folks are the most welcoming, very kind, and knowledgeable. I’ve taken a few classes and had great experiences. This is a place that makes you feel like you belong - no matter your knowledge or skill level. Lovely people, lovely yarn, overall a great place."

Kristy Laine

"I was looking online for some crochet accessories and Cowgirl Yarn had the best prices. While browsing, I came across some wool mini skeins bundled in the perfect color combination for a scarf I was already planning. The yarn and accessories were shipped quickly and came with a handwritten note and an adorable stitch marker. It's clear the folks at Cowgirl Yarn love their craft and shop, sourcing great products and providing beautiful colors in their samplers. The little details like the note and stitch marker show they really love their customers, too. This is why I love local yarn stores, even if they aren't local to me."

Betsy Ross

"This lovely place is fantastic. The store has local sourced wool and blended wool yarns that are wonderful, not to mention other types and brands of yarn. They wind your hanks into cakes for you if you need yarn cakes. When I visited the store for the first time there were ladies seated in the front of the store knitting and crocheting, sharing patterns and having a great time. The atmosphere is warm and inviting so needless to say I’ve been back to purchase more fabulous yarn. I live in Ohio and have not visited any yarn shops like this. The staff is so sweet and helpful and can check patterns on Ravelry suggesting alternative yarns for your projects. I HIGHLY recommend this store. Thank you Cowgirl Yarn for a wonderful experience. I will be ordering more yarn for future projects."
