Begin to Cable Headband – April 20, 2021 (5:30-7:00 pm)

If you have been itching to try cables, this one-session class is perfect for you! We will learn the basic cable structure and talk about how to read cable charts, so you will be prepared to tackle any cable pattern that comes your way in the future. We'll also be knitting the Woven Cable Headband by Priscillia Uloho.

Cost: $30, 10% off class materials; the Cable Headband pattern is included in the class fee

Materials: 100 yards of worsted / aran weight yarn; US size 8 needles in preferred method for knitting flat; stitch markers, cable needle, tapestry needle and scissors

Meeting Time: Tuesday April 20, 2021: 5:30-7:00 pm

• Homework

• This headband is knitted back and forth.

  Using the cable cast on method, cast on 26 stitches.

  Row 1: K3, P1, K18, P1, K3.

  Row 2: K4, P18, K4.

• Participants are required to wear masks or face coverings for the duration of the class.
