Have you ever wondered how crocheter's take a hook and some yarn and make such gorgeous garments, accessories, and other crocheted treasures? Then this class is for you! We're pleased to be able to offer an in-person Begin to Crochet class!
Join Alison Doherty for this class, which will teach you the all of the basics needed to get started crocheting and four crochet stitches found in nearly all patterns. You will learn the single, half-double, double, and triple crochet stitches, as well as how to chain and slip stitch to begin and turn your project!
By the end of this class, participants will be able to crochet a square coaster!
Homework: If you purchase your supplies right before class, please come at least 20 minutes early if you buy a yarn needing winding!
Cost: $30; Class supplies are discounted 10%.
Meeting Time: Thursday, September 29th from 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm.
- This class is designed for someone who is a true beginning crocheter. The class will focus on the basics needed to start crocheting and does not presume any prior knowledge about crocheting.
