This class will give you a crash course in several main techniques found in lace knitting patterns! We will practice the provisional cast on, 2 different decrease techniques, yarn overs, navigating stitch markers, getting comfortable with abbreviated instructions, and kitchener stitching the cowl together for a seamless look.
Using a worsted weight yarn and a short pattern repeat, this project will be a great first intro to lace techniques and a fast, fun, fashionable way to show off your knitting prowess.

Pre-Requisites: Must be able to knit, purl, cast on, and bind off comfortably
Meetings: Wednesdays June 5 and 12--5:30-7pm
Materials: 200-250 yds of worsted weight yarn, US 8 needle, stitch markers
