Bridgewater by Brooklyn Tweed

Bridgewater is a square lace shawl that begins as a simple garter stitch square, which is worked on the bias with increases and decreases that add a touch of asymmetrical interest to the finished piece. The central square is framed with horseshoe lace, a pattern that originated in the Shetland Islands in the 19th century. It is worked circularly from stitches picked up around the perimeter.
