Grettir by Brooklyn Tweed

Grettir is inspired by time spent in Iceland amidst its glacial horizons and bustling city lights. The result is a modern take on traditional yoked pullovers with shaped and classic silhouettes and options for either a crew neck or a turtleneck to best suit your comfort and style. While visiting the northern coast of the country, designer Jared Flood met a storyteller who told him the amazing saga of Grettir — the longest surviving outlaw in Icelandic history. Jared found himself particularly intrigued by the final chapter in the story: Grettir’s demise on the rocky cliffs of Drangey, a fortress-like stone island off the coast. This imposing site is visible from the shoreline and played directly into the angles and organic stranding of this sweater’s colorwork yoke.
