Double weaving is a great technique to use to add pockets to your weaving, different front and back textures, and even maximize the weaving width of your loom! In this class, you'll create a handy tool caddy that will hold all your weaving tools, while also looking fabulous at the same time. Through clever warping and fabric manipulation, you will learn how to use double weaving to your advantage.
Prerequisites: You must know how to warp a 4-shaft loom, how to weave on a 4-shaft loom. Students who have taken our Begin to Weave on a 4-Shaft Loom class AND at least one of the Huck Lace Weaving or Shadow Weaving classes or who have similar weaving experiences are prepared to take this class.
Homework: You will need to warp the loom prior to class. You can pick up the warping instructions and a class loom (if you need to borrow one) two weeks before the class begins and once you've paid the course fee. If you need to borrow a loom from the shop, please let us know by including a comment in the Notes section during online checkout.
Cost: $275; Class supplies are discounted 10%.
Materials: Three 5/2 cotton cones from Lunatic Fringe: 1 cone of the main color and 2 cones in a contrasting color; a 12-dent reed; a 4-shaft loom with at least a 12" weaving width.

Notes:
- This class is best for those who have previously woven several projects on a 4-shaft loom.
- Parking: Participants can park in the First Interstate Bank parking lot during non-banking hours. d like, you can bring a sack lunch with you. A refrigerator and microwave are available for your use, or you can plan to order take-out from one of Laramie's awesome, downtown restaurants.
