Gotland fiber is known for a range of lovely grays, luster, supple fibers, often surprisingly soft. The fleece is suitable for use in any technique. Worsted-spun yarns will emphasize the shine and drape, while woolen-spun varieties can incorporate an unusual amount of air and can be used to add texture, if spun for that. Gotland is happy to oblige with felting.
