Intro To Intarsia-UW Beanie 3/21 and 3/28 2019 5:30-7pm

Intarsia is a technique used to create color work motifs in knitting over a single space or area. This method does not strand throughout the entire piece so it is perfect for creating large or singular images on knitted items.

We will learn this technique on our kit pattern, the UW beanie, which features a prominent Steamboat motif at the front of the cap.

Materials: UW Beanie kit, US 5 needles in preferred method for knitting flat, stitch markers

Homework: Cast on and complete the rib section prior to class

Meetings:
Thursday 3/21 5:30-7pm
Thursday 3/28 5:30-7pm
