Is your project increasing to the left rather than to the right? Did you mean to use an SSK in place of K2Tog, but you aren't sure why and now your projects leans in the wrong direction? You need this Knitting Increases and Decreases Techniques class to untangle your lefts and rights and when to use each one! This class will compare a variety of increases and decreases to finally cement these stitches in your mental and muscle-memory knitting tool kit. Participants will learn knit into the front and back, purl into the front and back, right lifted increase, left lifted increase, make 1 right, make 1 left, slip slip knit, slip slip purl, knit 2 together, purl 2 together.
Prerequisites: Participants should be familiar with knit, purl, and slip stitches.
Homework: Come to class with about 2" x 4" of a stockinette swatch on your straight needles, do not bind off, be ready to practice a variety of increases and decreases on this swatch.
Cost: $35; Class supplies are discounted 10%.

- ~50 yards of any light-colored, worsted-weight yarn from Cowgirl Yarn or your yarn stash
