Have you ever wanted to make the ever popular Shift Cowl by Andrea Mowry, but weren't sure where to start? Well look no further! Join Robbie, Knit Doctor extraordinaire, for a two-session class where you will learn all the techniques and tricks to make your very own Shift Cowl. If you can knit and purl, you can learn to craft the Shift Cowl of your dreams.
What skills will this class teach?
- Over the course of two sessions, students will learn the basics of the Mosaic Stich, I-cord bind off, and more!
Homework: Purchase and print the Shift Cowl Pattern from Ravelry. We can also do this for you in the shop.
Materials: 600 yards of sport-weight yarn in three different colors, example shown is knit with three skeins of Schoppel Edition 3; US size 5 (3.75 mm) 24" circular needles (cord length is not critical since cowl is worked flat); scissors; tapestry needle; stitch markers; row counter (recommended).
Meeting Times: Saturdays, March 2nd and April 6th: 10:30am to noon
- Please read our Class Terms and Conditions and provide a phone number and email when checking out, so we can contact you if needed should a last-minute issue arise.
