Toe Up Two-at-a-Time Magic Loop Socks – July/August 2022

Using a basic toe up sock pattern, participants will learn the magic loop technique of toe up two-at-a-time socks.  Participants will also learn the fleegle heel and stretchy bind off.

Prerequisites: Participants must be familiar with knitting socks (have knit at least one or two pairs).

Homework: Prior to attending the first session, please watch Judy Becker on YouTube and attempt Judy's magic cast on https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1pmxRDZ-cwo.

Cost: $80; Class supplies are discounted 10%.

Materials:

• Two 50g balls, or one 100g ball split in two balls, of sock yarn in a plain color (light colors preferred, no black, navy or brown)
• US 1, 2.25mm 40" circulars
• Stitch markers
• Toe Up 2 at a Time Socks by Melissa Morgan Oakes (this is a great resource and reference book for this technique!)
• Note pad and writing utensil
• Optional: Two ball cozies

• Saturday, July 16th from 10:30 am to 12:00pm
• Saturday, July 30th from 10:30 am to 12:00pm
• Saturday, August 13th from 10:30 am to 12:00pm

• Participants are free to wear masks during the class as they prefer.
