Tools and Notions

Notions are the tools that make your making easier — and there are a lot of them out there. We stock the ones that actually work. Our rule here is function first: if it does its job well and happens to be beautiful, even better. If something is cute but fiddly, it doesn’t earn shelf space.

Not sure what you actually need versus what you just think you need? We’ll give you an honest answer. (And if you already own six of something, we’ll probably tell you that too.) Come in and hold the needles or hook before you buy them — it really does make a difference in how much you enjoy your making.
