From the Designer:

Graceful stylized flowers branch at each corner to form a delicate stalk of petals and leaves in the Evangeline Border folk embroidery kit. Worked in a traditional color palette of three colors, each in a light and dark shade), the effect is beautiful and striking. While shown as a table runner, the center area could also be used to stitch a quote or commemorate an event such as a wedding or birth. The pattern includes a section of the chart with the center left blank so you can fill in the text of your choice.
