- Blocking and Finishing
- 20$ per item to have an employee block the items for you or have an employee assist you in blocking
- 5$ per item to use the Fernwood studio space and blocking supplies if you block the items yourself
- Finishing rates will depend on the extent of the finishing required (finishing meaning, seaming, blocking, ends woven in, mistake correction) plan on 15-20$ per hour of finishing.
- You will be able to discuss and negotiate this with a Cowgirl Yarn employee
- Piece Repair
- 20$ per repair spot, payable to the expert repairing the item
- Studio Space and Equipment Rental
- Studio space rental fee will depend on the function details and amount of attendees
- Equipment rental
- Rent a take home loom (table or rigid heddle) for 30$/per month
- Rent a floor loom in The Fernwood Studio for 40$/per month, available during all business hours and other hours via special arrangement with Cowgirl Yarn
- Rent a take home spinning wheel for 30$/per month, includes a lazy kate and 3 bobbins
- Weaving accessory rental:
- Warping board-7$/week if you take it home, free usage included with rental of a floor loom
- Bobbin Winder--usage included with rental of a floor loom
- Reeds-5$/per month for both floor and take home loom usage
- Private Lessons
- Schedule a private lesson in any fiber craft for 20$/hour with one of our highly skilled teachers.
- Private Group Classes
- Schedule a private group class for your club, friend group, birthday party, team bonding session etc.
- Available in any fiber discipline
- Maximum of 8 people for knitting or crocheting, 6 for weaving
- Exact fee will vary depending on the duration of the class and subject
- Expect between 15-18$/per person, per hour of the class duration
