This year's Hot August Knits Yarn crawl from July 27 - August 11 is packed with excitement at Cowgirl Yarn! We have special extended hours, tons of pop-up shops and vendors and lots of special trunk shows from our favorite companies!

Extended Hours
Mondays: 2-6pm
Tuesdays: 10:30am-8pm
Wednesday through Friday: 10:30am-6pm

Pop-Up Shops
July 27 10:30-4pm The Fiber Traveler Karey Grant--Meet Karey Grant the Fiber Traveler! She travels the Mountains and Plains Fibershed searching for excellent, unique and rare breed wools for hand spinners and hand knitters. She'll have a collection of spinning fiber, yarn and finished objects.
July 27 10:30-4pm The Sassy Stitchery--Where cute fabric meets simple and functional designs with a few funky color twists! The mastermind behind it all Michelle selects just the right adorable fabrics to complement her practical but whimsical project bags and accessories.
August 2 11-5pm Fibercation--Meet Laramie's only local Alpaca fiber and yarn producer! This special show will feature yarns, finished products and spinning fibers from local alpacas and some blended with bamboo or wool!
August 3 10:30-3pm Independence Street Yarns--Michelle Kidd Drechsel is the dyer behind Independence Street. Look for earthy undertones across the colorway for endless mix-and-match possibilities. Drechsel sees her less-frequent neon colorways representing adrenaline, which she chased endlessly in her outdoor life on single-track mountain biking trails and downhill skiing.
August 10 10:30-4pm Artistic Yarns by Abi--Abi's incredible self striping yarns are a shop favorite here at Cowgirl Yarn. Join her this time for sock yarns inspired by candy, fruit, nature, weather, movies, and more! She'll even have a very special exclusive colorway that was designed just for Cowgirl Yarn.
