They will also learn how to follow a pattern with multiple sizes and yarn choices, will learn rib stitching, and will learn how to work with DPNs for decreases on the crown. This pattern knits up quickly, is fun to knit, and makes a great gift!

Please Bring to Class:

-Open Ridge Beanie pattern by Kim Bussell which is $7.00 on Ravelry and can be purchased in-store

- One skein (~200 yards) of worsted weight yarn (Plymouth Encore recommended)

- US size 6 & 8 16” circular needles

- US size 8 DPNs 6"

-Note: this pattern is written with options for bulkier yarn. If you choose to do a different yarn, let us help you choose your yarn and needle sizes.

Darning needle

- Scissors or yarn snips

Homework:

We really hate to break it to ya, but yes, there’s just a smidge of homework. But don’t let it intimidate you!
