Berroco's Lanas is made from 100% wool, giving it exceptional warmth and durability. This unique blend of South American wools still has a lovely soft touch and a light luster that can be hard to find in hand-wash wools. It's perfect for cold-weather projects and folks who want 100% wool yarns without the scratchiness of other skeins.

These bright red skeins are ideal for the Melt the ICE hats! Available in knitting and crochet options, these hats are based off of traditional Norweigian hats worn in the 1940s as a form of visual resistance against Nazi occupation. Today, they've seen a revival as a symbol of opposition to ICE and solidarity with immigrants and other affected communities. All sales from both patterns go towards immigrant aid organizations in the Twin Cities- crafting for a cause!
