The Vegan Bag is an innovative and sustainable yarn from Katia's The Concept collection, and is specially designed for making bags and sturdy accessories. This unique yarn is made from a blend of lyocell and plant-based fibres derived from pineapple leaves, also known as Piñayarn. The Vegan Bag is OEKA-TEX, ISO, and Peta-Approved Vegan certified, and is made from agricultural waste from pineapple leaves, so each skein helps support sustainability efforts!
The yarn has a strong structure and a natural look, making it perfect for shoppers, handbags, baskets and other accessories that need stability and durability. Despite its strength, Katia The Vegan Bag feels pleasantly soft and comfortable to work with.
The Vegan Bag pattern requires a faux-leather bottom and straps, which are out of stock. There are many other fantastic patterns which can be made with just the yarn.
