Size- men’s medium size:
Hat- 21 inches around.
Mitten- palm 9¼ inches around.

Materials- heavy worsted weight yarn: 300 yards.
For a contrast hem, 50 yards of a worsted weight yarn.
Double point needles size 8;
16 inch circular needle size 8
or size required to get the gauge.
Safety pin, stitch marker
Gauge- in circular stockinette st, 18 sts equal 4 inches.
