"Painted Peacocks is a part of our homage to Jane Austen, Pride & Prejudice, and Lorajean's favorite movie of all time, the 2005 film adaptation of P&P. In the scene where Elizabeth Bennet first glimpses Mr. Darcy, she calls him and the group he's with Painted Peacocks:
Elizabeth Bennet: So which of the painted peacocks is our Mr. Bingley?
Charlotte: Well he's on the right and on the left is his sister.
Elizabeth Bennet: And the person with the quizzical brow?
Charlotte: That is his good friend, Mr. Darcy.
Elizabeth Bennet: The miserable poor soul!
Charlotte: Miserable, he may be, but poor he most certainly is not.
Elizabeth Bennet: Tell me.
Charlotte Lucas: 10.000 and he owns half of Derbyshire.
Elizabeth Bennet: The miserable half?"
