Our ruched scarf designed by Jennifer Evans was created to add subtle feminine flourish to the scarf equation. Think of it as ruffles with restraint. We couldn't resist turning the gathered bands on their side with a lacier yarn for an ethereal wrap on a dramatic scale. Wear it as a party shawl, or as an unexpected scarf over a tailored coat. Heaven!
Finished Sizes:
Scarf: Approx. 6 x 72"/15 x 183cm.
Wrap: Approx. 77 x 16"/196 x 41cm.
Yarn:
Scarf: 3 skeins Rowan Kid Classic (153 yds/140m each) or approx. 420 yds/384m of an equivalent worsted-weight yarn.
Wrap: 5 skeins Rowan Kidsilk Haze (229 yds/210m each) or approx. 1120 yds/1025m of an equivalent lace-weight mohair and silk yarn.
Needles:
US 8 (5mm) 24"/60cm circular, or size to obtain gauge.
US 10 (6mm) 24–32"/60–80cm circular, or two sizes larger than gauge needle.
