Product Description

Designed by Eugen K. Beugler, the beautiful Spring Blossoms Shawl features a design in which purl stitches outline the leaves and define the stems, which creates an interesting texture in the stockinette stitch lace pattern. Knit from the center out, the shawl is cast off with a simple crocheted chain edging that can be started near the end of any 16-round repeat, which makes it easy to customize the size. Designed for the adventurous knitter, this heirloom quality shawl will bring a bouquet of compliments through many seasons.

Blocked Size: 44" square.

Yarn: Approximately 1300 yards of lace-weight yarn.

Notes:

This is a physical pattern.
The sample was knitted in lace-weight yarn, but the shawl also looks great in fingering-, sport-, dk-, and light, worsted-weight yarns.
