Muir is a sideways garter stitch hat with stripes. This cozy hat is a fun and quick knit that is great for using leftover scraps from various worsted-weight wools. There are endless options for sideways striping. We encourage you to try your own version! The hat, which is written for two sizes, is worked sideways and is shaped using short rows. The brim, which is worked last, is picked up from the “hat body” and knit in the round.
