Just like the mythical creature, the Winter Jackalope Hat pattern is a Wyoming delight; designed and created by Elise Hanson.  This pattern is as fun as it is versatile and can be done with the double knitting or stranded colorwork method!  Choose from three different brim styles to ensure you absolutely love this finished hat. 

PATTERN MATERIALS:

YARN:
Two high contrast colors (~100 yards each) of fingering weight wool yarn

NEEDLES:
6 to 8 double point needles or 18-22" circular needles of the following sizes:

  • Size US 2 (2.75mm) for brim
  • Size US 3 (mm) for hat body, or size needed to obtain gauge


OTHER TOOLS:
Tapestry needle
