Calling all fission knitting fanatics!
Join experienced teacher and knitter-extraordinaire Robbie Feuerstein for this advanced fission knitting class, which builds on skills from her Fission Knitting 101 class. Fission knitting allows you to create reversible, multi-colored cabled knits through a unique marled knitting technique. This two-session class will use the Comet Trails Cowl to teach new fission stitches and skills that will prepare you to tackle all sorts of stunning blankets, scarves, wraps, and accessories!
What You'll Learn:
- Advanced Fission Knitting: Building on Fission Knitting 101 skills, Robbie will walk you through new stitches and give you tips and tricks for working this technique.
- Knitting with Multiple Strands: Fission knitting is worked by knitting two colors as one marled strand, and dividing them for cables. Learn how to pick colors that pop, how to improve your yarn management while knitting, and how the fiber and construction of different yarns impacts your project.
- How to Improve Your Cables: Students should have a background knowledge of standard cable knitting and fission knitting, but this class will help you take your skills to the next level and become a cable master!
