Learn to knit a cozy Wyoming winter sweater with this easy colorwork class!

Perfect for Intermediate knitters, this class from Lisa will help you master the foundations of stranded colorwork techniques, chart reading, and two-handed knitting. Under Lisa's guidance, you'll work the Fair Isle yoke in this top-down sweater before dividing out the sleeves, knitting the body, and seamlessly picking the sleeves back up for a cozy winter masterpiece! 

This worsted weight pattern knits up quickly and is clearly written for success. and wonderful sweater is a great opportunity to learn two new skills in one setting!

Here’s a rundown of the knitty-gritty:

Class Details:

Instructor: Lisa Mackey
Dates: Saturday January 10th, January 24th, February 7th.
Time: 10:30am - 12:30pm
Cost:  $130.00 (includes 10% discount on class supplies)
Skill level: Intermediate
Minimum age: 18 years old

Required Materials:

  • Flat White by Casapinka 
  • Berocco Ultra Wool or similar worsted weight yarn in adequate amount for sweater size chosen (all sizes require 1 skein of contrast color 1 and contrast color 2; please refer to the pattern to determine the number of skeins of the main color needed for your size and reach out to the shop if you're unsure!)
  • US 7 circular needles with 16” and 32” cords (24" cord helpful but not required)
  • US 8 circular needles with 16” and 32” cords (24" cord helpful but not required)
    • A note on circular needles: this pattern uses multiple cord lengths for each needle size. We recommend using interchangeable needles for this pattern. If using interchangeables, you will one set of US 7 tips, one set of US 8 tips, one 16" cord, and one 32" cord (24" cord optional)
  • US 7 DPN's
  • Tapestry needle
  • Stitch marker
  • Waste yarn or stitch holders

Homework:

Prior to class 1: Students should come to the first class with their piece cast on and the eight rounds of the neck band completed.
