This one-skein pattern, designed for our 2008 LYS Tour, became a fast favorite. Wear them when knitting outdoors on a chilly day. Or layer them over your fine leather gloves when the temperature drops. Live in a temperate zone? Choose a cooler yarn and they’re all about style.

KNITTER'S NOTES
Some knitters have trouble with the thumb directions. It is a wordy patch, isn't it? Stick it out though, because the thumb bind-off is quite tidy. It might help to have someone read the directions out loud to you.
Pam points out that while buttons are optional, if you add them, you create a left and a right glove. Otherwise your gloves are reversible. Something to consider!
