Weaving Colrful Magic on a Rigid Heddle

Are you ready to weave amazing colorwork on a rigid heddle? 

Join renowned, expert weaver Dorothy Tuthill for a one-day workshop and discover the magic of clasped warp and weft weaving.

Whether you're a newer weaver or a seasoned crafter, this class will inspire you to create stunning textiles with lovely patterns.

Clasped warp and weft weaving allows for incredible patterns to be woven without needing a multi-shaft loom.

Learn how to transform simple threads into a beautiful scarf that perfectly reflects your personality and wardrobe.  

Space in this class is limited, though, so sign up as soon as you're able. If you find that the class has been sold out, contact the store and we will put you on the waitlist for the next class. Chances are, if we have enough people on the waitlist, we'll create another class soon after.

Time: 10:00 am to 3:00 pm
Investment: $125.00 Yarn is provided in this class investment. 
Location: Fernwood Studio in the basement of Cowgirl Yarn
Parking: Participants can park for free in the First Interstate Bank parking lot down the street from Cowgirl Yarn during non-banking hours.
Skill Level: Intermediate (Students should be comfortable warping a rigid heddle loom)
Max # of Students: 4

Minimum age of Students: 14

Final Important Notes

  • Looms will be available to borrow or rent for a limited amount of time, if needed. Just let us know.
  • You will likely not finish the project on Sunday. However, you may take the loom home to finish the project.
  • Please plan your lunch time.  If you'd like, you can bring a sack lunch with you. A refrigerator and microwave are available for your use, or you can plan to order take-out from one of Laramie's awesome, downtown restaurants.
