What You'll Learn:
- How to properly fit socks made in the toe-up style
- We will be knitting a 'Discovery Sock' during class to determine your perfect fit
Class Details:
Instructor: Robbie Feurstein
Dates: 3 Saturdays - October 11th, 25th, & November 8th
Times: 10:30 am - 12:30 pm

Location: Fernwood Studio in the Basement of Cowgirl Yarn
Parking: Participants can park for free in the First Interstate Bank parking lot down the street from Cowgirl Yarn during non-banking hours.

Please Bring to Class:
- The e-book Personal Footprints for Insouciant Sock Knitters from Cat Bordhi's Ravelry page or look for a used copy on Amazon
- A personal footprint from Chapter 1 made out of stiff cardboard
- Approximately 50g of sock yarn that is enough to knit 1 sock (this can be from your stash)
- Needles in the size you usually use to knit your socks. If you are planning to use double-pointed needles for your socks, bring a 24" circular needle or longer at least 1 size smaller than your double-pointed needles.
- Stitch markers
- Scissors
- Tapestry Needle
- Note paper
- Pen/pencil
Homework to Complete Before Class:
Review Chapter 1 of the book and make a personal cardboard footprint as directed in chapter 1.
Prerequisites:
Students will need to have experience knitting socks on double-pointed needles, two circular needles, or one long circular needle. They should also be familiar with Judy's magic cast-on or another toe-up cast-on of the student's choice.
Final Important Notes:
Make sure that this class meets your skill level so you are prepared for the class. Unfortunately, this class is not for someone who has never knitted a sock before.
